What you will do

The Digital Marketing Specialist/Team Lead reports directly to the Director of Digital Marketing. The Team Lead is responsible for championing the company’s core values and assuring their team members campaigns meet their goals. In addition to developing existing team members digital marketing skills and training digital marketing strategy to new employees.

 

  • Manage a team of digital marketing services team members.
  • Ensure team members are meeting the goals of their campaigns. Assist with strategy development and implementation.
  • Review team members account performance and conduct weekly check-ins with each team member to review their hit list accounts. Provide direction and assistance in helping them get those accounts off the hit list.
  • Monitor the brand performance that your team members manage and make sure the entire brand is meeting goal expectations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on brand insights and strategy development for that brand.
  • Coordinate with other department’s team leaders in solving issues with clients.
  • Conduct quarterly and bi-annual assessments for team members.
  • Provide strategy training for new employees for our provided packages.
  • Evaluate processes and standard operating procedures and collaborate with Director of Digital Marketing  to enhance program or package performance.
  • Coordinate with other Team Leads on resolving issues with team members task completion.
  • Assist with prospecting questions from sales or client services team members.


Core Responsibilities Expanded

  • Manage a team of digital marketing services team members.
    • Communicate company initiatives to team members and answer any questions.
    • Monitor the team members out of office time to make sure it falls in line with company policies.
    • Ensure team members are following company policies.
  • Ensure team members are meeting the goals of their campaigns. Assist with strategy development and implementation.
    • Review team members campaign goals to make sure they’re achievable.
    • Field any questions team members may have about achieving success for their campaign.
    • Monitor team members CPRs and overall performance scores for managed campaigns to identify accounts that need improvement.
  • Review team members account performance and conduct weekly check-ins with each team member to review their hit list accounts. Provide direction and assistance in helping them get those accounts off the hit list.
    • Conduct a one on one with each team member and discuss the items you have identified in the previous task. Collaborate with them in developing the strategy and insights needed to achieve account success.
    • Monitor their overall PPC and SEO performance ensuring they’re hitting 60 / 30 / 10.
  • Monitor the brand performance that your team members manage and make sure the entire brand is meeting goal expectations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders on brand insights and strategy development for that brand.
    • Review brand CPRs and meet with brand specialists to identify issues, opportunities and trends.


What we are looking for

  • 3+ years of Search Engine Optimization experience
  • 3+ years of Google Ads and Bing Ads account management
  • BS/BA degree preferred (Business, Economics, Marketing, Mathematics, or Computer Science)
  • Google Ads Certified, Google Analytics Certified, and/or achieved Google Ads Nano-Degree
  • Strong proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, and Google Search Console
  • Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS. Proficiency in JavaScript.
  • Proficient in Facebook Ads and LinkedIn Ads
  • The ability to switch between individual and team tasks
  • Goal oriented personality with a passion for Digital Marketing
