Job Description

The Client Onboarding Specialist is responsible for guiding prospective customers through the onboarding process from first contact to sale. Strong communication skills are essential as the COS will serve as the face of NetSearch Digital Marketing during the pre-sale process as well as work with several internal teams, including Client Services and Digital Services teams to onboard clients. They manage the timeline, onboarding requirements, and schedule internal and external communication to gather necessary information to guarantee that the transition from sale to production is smooth and that our customers have an excellent first impression of NetSearch Digital Marketing. In this Client Onboarding Specialist role, you will have the ability to truly make an impact on the company’s growth.



 Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Point person for incoming prospect inquiries
  • Point person for all Kick Start and Quick Start program participants
  • Initiates the onboarding process with new buyers
  • Serves as the primary point of contact for prospects during the onboarding process. Clients will be transferred to Client Services and sales once contracts are signed and the new client form is completed
  • Manages the internal onboarding timeline and task lists to make sure all steps in the onboarding process are followed
  • Maintains accurate prospect/client records within the company’s CRM
  • Provide proper documentation of all communication with clients to ensure a seamless transition to the Client Services team
  • Conduct online presentations and demonstrations
  • Prepare proposals and agreements
  • Submits customer details and requests to internal teams via the New Client Set Up Form
  • Maintains extensive knowledge of the NetSearch Digital Marketing services, processes, and industry trends



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Competency with Microsoft Office
  • Sales and or Account Management experience
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with a variety of teams internally and externally
  • Desire and ability to quickly learn new skills
